  • An exceptional home for exceptional nuns: Nagi Gompa

    Constructed on a mountainside high above the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, Nagi Gompa nunnery provides a quiet place for study, retreat and meditation. The nunnery was constructed by Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and was consecrated by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa in 1962. Nagi Gompa is associated with Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery and today it is home to around one hundred nuns from remote villages in Nepal and Tibet.
