    The Asura Cave monastery and retreat center in Pharping, on the edge of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, is part of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery complex. While the monastery in Boudhanath is known as a place for study, Asura Cave is known as a retreat center for meditation.
