The power of prayer is central to countless cultural and religious traditions across the world. When pure intention, compassion, and sincere aspiration come together, an intangible but undeniable force for good arises.
Within the Buddhist tradition, laypeople have benefitted from the prayers of monks and nuns for millennia. In Buddhism, special rituals, or pūjās, are performed in combination with pure intention, to bring about beneficial and spiritually powerful results.
In keeping with this meaningful practice, it is possible to request prayers to be said under the supervision of Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche by the monks at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery and Asura Cave Monastery, as well as by the nuns at Nagi Gompa.
Buddhist prayers and pūjās can be performed for any number of beneficial reasons. You can sponsor prayers and pūjās for yourself or for a loved one. To learn more about the different prayers and rituals performed by our monastics, and how to request them, please click below.
